There’s no better way to dress up an outfit than accompanying your look with some key pieces of jewellery so when leading independent Scottish jewellers ROX called and asked me to work together on their SS18 issue of ROX Magazine, I was beyond excited. ROX is a brand who I have always believed to be top of their game when it comes to luxury jewellery but not only that, they offer some gorgeous, on-trend, affordable pieces for everyone. So below I’ve shared with you guys a little bit about the brand, the street style looks we created for the magazine, my top tips to styling up jewellery and also a DISCOUNT CODE for 20% off.
One thing I love about jewellery is that it is always personal, whether it’s gifts from your significant other, family heirlooms, purchases to mark milestones or simply just a reflection of your style. For example, some people can’t go out of the house without loading up necklaces, while for others, simple studs would be suffice. And when it comes to ROX, they really do have something for everyone. ROX balance exclusivity by bringing a level of inclusivity to their stores and products, from luxury watches and diamonds to affordable collaborations with contemporary designers. As you probably already know, ROX has an uncompromising commitment to closely following the latest trends and when they launched their ROX Magazine last year they conveyed their dedication to achieving this.

I was fortunate enough to work with them on capturing some of their latest products paired with some of my favourite street style looks. Below is one of my favourite looks from the shoot. The Celestial range (paired below with a Zimmerman polka dot dress mini dress). This Range is ROX’s second collaboration with Catherine Zoraida. Catherine is a contemporary british designer with designs worn by Kate Middleton – HRH the duchess of Cambridge.
Top tips for styling.
Keep it chic. In some instances, loading up on lots of bling is an exciting way to accent. But know when to stop. An armful of bangles, for example, means you should think minimal with your necklaces and earrings.
Tone it down when your clothes have a lot going on. A ruffle-front blouse can look gorgeous with a thin chain and small pendant in the mix, however pairing it with an over-the-top statement piece can be over-powering.
Mixing elements ARE allowed. Yes – it is ok to mix elements. Day-to-day looks can definitely be paired up with silver and gold and still look amazing. However if you’re planning on wearing a statement piece such as earrings or a necklace then make sure to keep it all the same, it just looks much cleaner.
And finally, of course the discount code… Use ‘RDROX20‘ for 20% off all ROX jewellery valid for 2 weeks ONLY!!
(Does not include brands i.e. Chopard, Gucci etc). Shop online now at ‘www.rox.co.uk‘ or pop in-store and grab yourself one of their magazines to see our full collaboration together.
